Lithium is off the cards in regards to power storage on offshore facilities. Vanadium flow batteries seem to be the way forward with this especially with major pressure being put on Gas companies to reduce GHG emissions. I've done the calcs and Vanadium flow batteries have the potential to reduce CO2 emissions significantly. There is a massive market there waiting and untapped.
