If we expect companies to be sustainable / ESG, they have to pay their fair share of tax. Just like we do. It's slowly getting harder for companies to scam communities and rip off the tax payer, fortunately.
I think the NVA management team would be more than happy to pay tax on profits. Because the profit part is great. It's also in the best interests of mining companies to contribute a lot to the countries where they mine, for their longevity.
I really think that "avoid taxes at all costs, take it all for yourself" is a baby boomer mentality that will die out as the boomers die out.
