Yes but I think it's the sheer volumes of water in thls particular DLE process and pumping back down that is the issue correct me if wrong.
Not sure I did read about evaporation ponds too where water can evaporate in ponds and maybe then the neeed for pumping waste water back in the aquifer is lessened I don't know. No idea
But any talk of contamination of natural underground aquifer is a serious issue Environmentally and needs sorting
