AGL have a problem with gas price - they need to start paying higher prices for their supply; if govt mandates to build a gas power station AND the govt will stump up for the infrastructure to support and supply it, I would guess that is a positive for AGL (but Mr Market thinks not, perhaps)
Also, the big batteries that AGL want do not need to be AT Liddell. So perhaps a new power plant AND batteries is on the cards.
