What problem are the conservatives trying to solve? It sure isn't climate change.
Look, I am of an age where the serious impacts of climate change will probably be after I am dead. However, the economic impacts are being foreshadowed now by insurance companies noticing the increase weather events that are costing them money.
I live in an area that has been wiped out by a cyclone once in my lifetime, and will suffer badly as climate change starts to mess with the seasons we already suffer with.
What issue is the conservatives trying to solve?
IN 50yrs, when their cities are inundated, their crops are failing and entire countries are starving, the amount of money they will have to spend to protect what little they have left will dwarf any expense spent on a grid now. At THAT point the conservatives will have all migrated to mountain top areas with good
water and a private army. (I recommend Armidale, NSW, and Uralla.)
