I think you're being overly negative.
GIP have tried to launch AD with a model of large up-front costs and it hasn't worked.
The experience with alluvial tin shows that if you keep your operation simple, you can make a start with much less capital and work your way up.
The options as I see them are to stick to the current plan and wait for the banks to say yes or change tack.
I think it's time for plan B. OK, we're probably onto plan Q by now but all the same.
