The coup leaders have reacted with sensitivity so far to the demands of the UN, USA, UE and African nations. I don't believe this group intends to hurt Mali. They want the borders to reopen immediately. So far they haven't said anything that is likely to worsen the situation. Which may mean a quick "business as usual" recovery for the mines.
