    hi hopper,

    from my understanding, closing auction is exactly like the opening auction... market stops at 4pm, bids and orders are taken until the execution time at about 4:10 - 4:15 (it works alphabetically... you'll notice stocks starting with the letter A open earliest in the morning also)
