The company got played on a number of levels but one was definitely its sales to China. I tested the waters to sell sandalwood in Japan 20n years ago (when it was far more abundant globally) and was flooded with queries. All I could shift at great prices. I lacked capital to proceed. Whoever was handling QIN's sales was either hopelessly incompetent or was trying to operate on behalf of the Chinese end to pretend sales were hard and buyers limited thus reducing the price. China is 1 market. India, Japan, Thailand, etc. etc. never were explored.
