YPF have just announced a tie in with Petronas for an initial $550M ($475M from Petronas) for exploration of a 187 km2 area of vaca called 'la Amarga Chica'. Deal is worth up to $1B depending on success. La Amarga is northwest of where Chevron & YPF have invested around $2B and are now producing 25,000 barrels of shale a day (The YPF/Chevron deal may reach up to $16B).

On a Sovereign & fiscal level I'm sure I'm not the only one who sees Uruguay as a much safer option than Argentina.
They say 'you can't choose your kid's friends or your neighbors' though it looks to me that SEI & PRL have chosen some pretty good neighbors....
