Once it has taken hold, the capacity of destruction this virus can unleash is huge. No amount of words here could do justice to the experience I went through to stay alive. It was only thanks to the amazing team in the Covid ward at the Alfred Hospital that I'm typing this now. I didn't have the option of a vaccine prior to getting the virus - given we now do, it's a no brainer for mine.
