perhaps what we are seeing now is a reaction to an overreaction by unions in the ?? 60's to say 90's ------------- which perhaps was an overreaction to the abuses in the say - 1900's 1920's etc with the rise of teamsters and the like
history take a bit of time - it's not an instant thing
very clear that we are seeing major abuses now - so, perhaps ------ (all being equal) we might begin to move back towards unionism

the thing of course that gets in the way is -- now, life is different - we are in the age of the robot ---------- and, that's going to throw the rule book out the window I think
