A vaccine was never going to be a silver bullet, despite what the markets were telling themselves for ~10 months.

It does nothing for people already infected. For them you need effective treatments. And measures to stop it spreading.

This one-dimensional narrative around the Vaccine hasn't really helped at all. While we've been fixating on that topic we've ignored the gaping holes in our own protective measures. The whole concept of Hotel Quarantine is so seriously flawed that it is farcical, regardless of what uniform the security personnel wear.
