What I find intriguing in that article is that "there were 8 people on the flight".
Yes, there were empty flights back pre covid but, I'm betting there aren't full flights anywhere now.
There are 5 dash 8 aircraft in their fleet and the rest at Boeing and Airbus- they're all big planes.
# 8 passengers is not a sustainable business model in any universe. Even if they were charging a grand per seat, 8 passengers isn't sustainable.
just another reason to avoid qantas shares...
