put ourselves in the situation from 2 different pov's -
a. the restaurant owner
b. government (any level)
I can think of reasons why both might demand vaccinated patrons --
doesn't matter if you or I think the reasons make sense or are worth it - but, there are reasons
as an owner - would it be possible that an unvaccinated person might attend your establishment - and, catch Covid - and get very very sick - or perhaps die?? -- would it be possible to trace back the source of infection to your restaurant? (on the latter - yes it would)
could you be held responsible for allowing unvaccinated people in your restaurant - knowing that they might be infected?
well - to me - there's a boatload of questions like that - which one would want legal advice on - pronto
as to governments - well, one 'reason' why governments might demand that people who go to restaurants be vaccinated - is to induce the population to be vaccinated - it's that simple

How could a restaurant be worried about legal implications when Vaccines aren’t approved by the Tga and the drug companies making them have been given indemnity against any legal actions .
