According to the recent announcement (last sentence), as a result of the settlement gearing increased 3.5% with no impact on the net asset value. To me, this seems to mean that debt and asset values increased by the same amount. Therefore, no impact other than gearing levels increased making it harder meet covenants, with the advantage of a control premium on the property.
