It's already been said but I'll repeat it....there is a difference between balanced and opposing views. There can be a difference in what they actually add to the discussion. There can also be a difference in how those views are delivered. There can be a difference in the degree of substantiation for those views.
It is obvious that a few posters from each camp "extreme irrational for and against" could lift their game. Newland's constant negative spin (I agree with Autosime here) gets a reaction from me periodically as well but in fairness some of the naive enthusiastic posts from others are a bit over the top as well. I would just like Newland to take a more diplomatic angle when wading in with the critique...it would make his points more valuable I believe and might induce similar behaviour from the extreme views at the other end.
In the meantime, BUY!
