restlessbird, you mean avb shareholders? IMO this is fairly standard. Companies make deals with companies. Shareholders never get to know the full details, just what we need to know. And the majors don't release drill results because they don't need to prove up resources for funding. If you think about it, the only time that you'll see results from Rio and BHP are when they've got a JV with a junior and the junior is doing the exploration.

We know the outline of the agreement and payments made to date which is the material information. And we'll be told the final payment when that occurs. Management will get much more information because that is required by the legal contract to determine the final payment but we don't need the exact details on how it is calculated - just the amount. It would be nice to know more but it's not necessary which is why they don't need to disclose it. imo
