Suggest you follow 'course of sales' to see what is really happening. I can't buy or sell 50 shares but small lots like this are traded all the time. No matter the tiny volume and value it's a sale and it can trigger a stop loss as surely as a trade for 1m shares. Currently there are many of these low volume trades and it's far from meaningless and certainly not nonsense.
