I think you are forgetting that AVB is a low volume copper producer with plenty of production growth opportunities already and low positive cash flow........ surely for the company and SP to thrive production growth is a necessity.
Certainly the profit and loss statements show that the balance sheet would improve if production was ramped up.
Like I said I am all for investing in the future but trying to juggle to many balls at once is a recipe for disaster.
I think the company is better off concentrating on creating higher positive cash flow through a ramp up in production
