i always thought Eddie was a beautiful guitar player, from the very 1st solo in Running With The Devil (1st song on the 1st album). Eddie had a such beautiful touch & tone.
However, I always wished he pursued music much more adventurous than pop music, say similar to Mahavishnu John McLaughlin, because Eddie certainly had the magic touch & virtuosity; both rhythmically & solo lines
