RIP Eddy ..
Damn too young.. As a guitarist he was so much more.. I just love the guitarists that can knock out a riff that is so good they can rip it as an intro until the whole band comes in.. and back it up live, which Eddy always did.. Not many are good enough to really pull this off.. without excessive special effects and over dubbing that others depend on.. Eddy was also known as a 'one take' specialist .. he new his way around a melody and utilised blues, boogie, funk, jazz, country all fuzed into his own unique rhythmic style
'Mean Street' off the album 'Fair Warning' is exactly this .. coinciding with a killer lyric from Dave and all the dynamics of the best of 80s California heavy rock
