I dont care how he came across to some. For me he was my idol, an inspiration to me, the Rumble in the Jungle bout against the odds was a once in a lifetime experience for me then throw in the Liston bout when he won the title, then the thriller in manilla (smokin Joe Frazier) . An out and out champion. No other heavyweight since has came close to his ability and charisma. imo

He talked the talk allright but man could he back it up.!

Absolute living legend and now in passing still a legend! imo
