I didn’t know Wombat777 or read his posts, but I can feel your pain … I have lost more than a few friends on HotCopper over the years and been to a few funerals … on the right threads with the right people it is the glue that binds many lives, from unknown walks of life and backgrounds … you just know when you get to read the content of someone you’d like to meet.
What is really important is to notice if personal circumstances change in a regular pinner and reach out to the extent possible. That is exactly what happened here it seems.
