valentines day gsk loves peter

Thinking about the people I love lead me to think of those I don't.

I hope GSK sent Peter a valentines day card, because they owe him one.

What I can't get my head around and the reason I think Peter should have resigned or been fired is how he went to a mediation with GSK, who have consistently offered Biota higher settlements, and on the day he would settle for anything GSK knew to offer only $20 million.

Did he walk in and tell them a funny story about the latest legal advice he had been given, is his poker face so bad they guessed, or did he start the negotiations by begging them to forgive Biota? Is anyone out there willing to admit they couldn't have done a better job in his place?

He cost Biota tens of millions of dollars (forgetting for the moment a win was worth hundreds of millions), did massive damage to Biota's credibility, and yet he's still CEO, and eligible for performance bonuses.

Un-bloody-believable.
