That is a good question Sideways. We will have to wait until when/if Exergen list to find that out for sure. There have been plenty of links showing that Theiss and Sedgman(Exergen CSI's) have completed all sorts of studies into Exergen's proposed projects but details are all in house at this stage. The fact that these 2 CSI's have pledged funds towards the CDP and have asked for technology licenses to develop CHTD plants of their own along with Tata and Itochu, has me pretty confident all the details needed are in place.

We also know Exergen have had a site selected for some time now which of course is needed for final drawings.

Yes there will need to be plenty of testing done for DICE and its CHTD fuel etc... as laid out in the very impressive DICEnet site by the CSIRO/Exergen and partners.

Yes, you are right, Minister Hunt does seem very keen on DICE.

Lots of questions SW that will only be answered over time and as projects progress through demonstration. At this early stage partnering, previous experience, offtake and funding will be the main issues as shown by the ALDP criteria. Exergen look to have that all covered IMO. The testing phase to answer your other questions will follow.

    All IMO & DYOR

    cheers
