    asteroider...

Several times today I placed largish buy orders...but the stock ran away from me...so I pulled it.

Dutifully the market sold it down as soon as I did, after which I was able to place the buy order again and get the stock I originally wanted at the price I wanted.

This happend on more than one accasion.

Sometimes, what you refer to as "props" are really just people placing genuine orders, then pulling them when the market moves away from them...typically because of their very presence.

At one stage today I had to buy in 50k lots...first at 17c...then 17.5c...then 18c...lost count how many buy orders. Point is...had I placed a single large order, the market would have jumped over me.

But yes, sometimes props are used at a distance to facilitate an exit.

The same activity howeve can also be used to make people think they are props...lol...confusing hey?

Simple solution is to look at the end result...it was up so chances are activity was aimed at net buying...and not net selling.

    What does that tell you?

    Cheers!
