nova star,
Where will the second bidder be getting their funds for the bid? Credit markets seem pretty stuffed at the moment. Who would be willing to lend money to take over a company with no independent evaluation?(Too bad ZFX have their own cash!) Current estimates value company AT PRESENT TIME somewhere between 700mil-900mil (very loose evaluation). Some in the market say this is close to fair value. ( broker reports and the share price is trading JUST above bid ). Xtrata seem to be having trouble closing the deal on JBM atm and all Juinchan need is SUPPLY of nickle product not their investement(doing ok atm though) otherwise THEY would have bought AGM earlier as they have the inside track do they not.
How do you come up with $1.30 minimum ( is this what you would sell for?)
How do you value at $1.50 per share in the current postion the company is in?
Other holders seem to believe that people are downramping this stock. $1.50 would therefore have to be classed as a ramp for the stock.
Not discounting your statement but some facts to back it up would be enlightening!
thanks!
