I think some are a bit enthusiastic for drill results. They actually have been released on average every six weeks, not every four (nor monthly). For example, for 2009-10:

Average: 43.4 days or 6.2 weeks
Anyway, who would want to have results released just before a major public holiday when no-one is watching? Far preferable to have them released after the Easter break.
Also, with more drill results it takes even more time to collate, check and print the data. There are few staff so it takes time.
