That is fantastic news for CVI in relation to gold.

Gold is going to surprise all and sundry by its upside over the next few years, in a resources boom that has hardly commenced.

The gold story has been emerging over the past 5 to 8 years starting from the B>'gold is now a useless relic' press talk back when it was $US270. It has been a heavily manipulated commodity with the aim being to try and strengthen non backed paper currencies at a time when poor economic performance and resultant huge deficits have plagued the Western world.

Gordon Brown, English treasurer back then, flogged off most of England's gold stash to supposedly diversify England's asset base with a spread of paper currencies. Brown/England got it completely wrong with gold now around $US800 and the $US holdings picked up in the transactions being worth considerably less. With the need to pump liquidity into the system, gold has been deliberately contained to suppress the notion of inflation taking a hold. Brown is no fool. He knew what he was doing, despite the losses, but the manipulation is rapidly becoming unglued.

Consistent buying of gold by the non Western world has forced gold higher, and higher. It is poised to really break out like a run away train over the next couple of years, as a flight to safety occurs after the sub prime and CDO/derivative rorts begin to paralyse the balance sheets of all and sundry. All around the world, Big Banks and powerful institutions have already declared billions of dollars worth of losses and City Bank in the US only 2 weeks ago has gone cap in hand to the middle east to secure a bailout to the tune of $7 billion dollars. What an embarrassment, yet no-one blinks an eye in the media.

With exposure to base metals, copper, rare earths, perhaps diamonds and NOW gold, coupled with oil and gas here there and everywhere across the African continent, CVI is poised for greatness. It has got its foot on truck loads of minerals and energy in an emerging commodities boom that will eventually go down in history as the biggest ever stock bubble.

And thanks primarily to you T4P it has on its register some very contented and very strongly committed shareholders.

Damn….if only Mark could come up with some coal and iron leases to round things off.

    Best Regards
    Nev
