Some information to ponder on that 2 million litres
Cost of new make adjusted to 43% (the ABV they do their values and volumes on) is approx $12/litre excluding excise. Cost of barrel amortised over say 5 years 50c per litre per annum. Angels share over 5 years say 20%.
Give COP value if all new make of $12.50 if all 5 year aged inc storage cost and interest of circa $30/litre. So if it was all mature it would cost (cash only, leaving aside time) no more than $60m to replace and that is throwing the higher end of the cost scale at it.
All the rest is Goodwill, brand equity whatever you want to call it . And valuing that is animal spirits stuff.
