Long Time holder of FAR but first post here.
CN is currently in the UK and I don't think she's there for a holiday. The message about the investment or TO potential in companies holding leases off Senegal will get out there and will be digested by the serious players fairly quickly.
There is still speculation here and long term (or actually medium term) investors have been rewarded already to some extent with an upwards stock improvement of nearly 200% in twelve months and 425% for some of the luckier investors in 2012. I have a mixture of both and I'm happy to sit. Longer term investors may be sitting square or even down a little.
Having said that, I'm a little pissed off about the SI placements and hope that this was the last time CN has to use this as a tool to get Institutions on side. You can be almost certain that Bell Potter wouldn't have offered this stock to it's normal SI listing.
I'm happy to take a significant dividend after a TO but see the "transformational" comment from CN to mean that FAR hopes to be more than an explorer going forward.
