Paraburdoo whilst not quite as hot isn't far off, Rio been mining there for decades
I've been up there a bit (Para), seen school kids out playing sport @ 47c, dry heat, life goes on.
Winters as said are magic, its great country, harsh and hard, but also great camping and dare I say prospecting
Some of Tom Price and Para locals have very impressive gold nugget finds
Worth a visit......
