Matching this post with your recent post about reducing your average cost from $13 to $12, implies that your position prior to the buy and sell was about 11,500 shares @ $13. You then bought 10,000 @ $8.75 and later sold 10,000 @ $9.90. This would bring your average cost down from $13 to $12. You would also have realized a loss of $31,000 ($3.10 a share). So to make up for that loss you need the SP to go to $15.10 (without any more purchases and sales).
With this approach you are trading a large proportion of your position each time.
