The fast track approval route has been mentioned by the company several times. So I agree this is a goal. I see some of the funds from the CR are to be used to run an expansion trial off the phase 1 results. This will be to gain more data to support fast track approval.
So I think the timeline for the phase 2b/3 trial will be strechted a bit beyound 2023.
Another company i am invested in has just attempted to raise $36 million to run a fast track approval trial. That trial will last 12 months with 108 patients. As an example.
