This is a completed phase 1 study for CHM 0201 as reported by CHM (https://www.finnewsnetwork.com.au/companyreports/chimeric-therapeutics/20220307/chimeric-therapeutics-%7C%7C%7C-final-results-in-phase-1-trial-of-core-nk-platform).

This is actually the first generation CAR-NK product from the CORE-NK platform they got from Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) (https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT02890758?term=david+wald&draw=2&rank=1). The plan is according to CHM, there will be a second-generation (CHM-0301), which will integrate additional activation and expansion features to further optimize the cancer-fighting power of the CORE-NK platform cells. Then a 3rd Generation, which will include the 2nd gen as a base with CLTX or CDH-17 included as receptors in the CORE-NK cell.

The trial results show us an idea of how and where CAR-NK cells work for CHM-0201. 1st gen primarily works best on blood tumors and at best may produce stable disease in solid tumors (Specifically, it means that there was neither an increase in size of more than 20% nor a decrease in size of more than 30% since the initial baseline measurement). However, the proposed changes in the 2nd and 3rd gen CAR-NK cells they will develop with CWRU could increase the potency on solid tumors.

Nothing is really conclusive other than the fact that this will work on blood tumors with good results. You will need more patients to get conclusive data.

The dosing schema you posted, has been completed. The phase 1 trial recruited 3 patients per dose level (3 in blood tumours and 6 in solid tumours). The trial was an investigator-initiated trial conducted by Dr. David Wald.
