Well, yes... but why not wait until 3 days (20 Jan 2022) and just buy Block Inc shares instead?
My interpretation of the timetable is that If you purchase APT now (or hold any now), they'll disappear after trading closes on the 19th and you won't see the converted SQ2 shares until Feb 2.
You're tempting fate (especially if your a T+2 account) to purchase now, IMHO - you're better of waiting until you can purchase SQ2 on 20 Jan.
