While some cry mis-management,given the longterm players involved,I suspect MMC has being highly micro managed to accomodate the overall wishes of the afore mentioned players.

PNG government talking about closing down Oktedi,the mongolian government arcing up about cost blowouts with rio,nearterm theres plenty to suggest a copper mine in production will attract plenty of potential buyers,and thus maybe a bidding war,should the major players in MMC think thats the way to go.
You would have to think, theres major copper deposits still to be found in our area along the Bundi fault zone(slide 21 of the latest presentation suggests this to me at least).
