Apropos the various questions about why the SP is so low, Myer has been the plaything of short sellers for quite a while now. I think these players are negatively affecting the share price more than any tax loss selling or even institutional rebalancing. One reason I think this is that Myer often get hit late in the day; they hardly ever finish on their high, even on up days.
On a stock this size the market generally finds the true value eventually, and in the meantime the dividend is a nice compensation for the pain felt by long term holders.
