Thanks Timber7 for clearing that up for others.
Obviously, I have never said that a dividend will be declared, as I do not know that.
My postings on the matter are as far right as anyone could get, and I know of no others that would publically support these thoughts.
It comes down to Strategic planning and thinking.
How does a company that has been tarnished for so many years lift its share price overnight.
    What tools has it available.
A Shorts squeeze can be used and with the large short interest its possible.
Contract announcements can be used, but UNIS has announced huge contracts to no avail, because markets have taken the attitude of show us the money.
Potential contracts to be signed- no help
    New outstanding products -no help
    So, what might help?
Large immediate upfront payments would help.
I feel that most would agree that a financial partnership of some kind, large enough and of a nature that unlimited money is available based on the longevity and earning power of the contracts.
I have tried to explain that management knows the future production needs of contracts.
Production lines are booked out, hence the need for more which are planned and being installed or producing or both.
I have attempted to point out that UNIS current loans outstanding are very small ($100 M) or less, and are only a problem in the covenants that were attached.
Now, i have tried to point out, that if a lender partner gave UNIS access to say a $1B LOC with allowances for a dividend to be paid even though UNIS current earnings do not support such action, but taking into account the rising revenue of the future years, then a huge short squeeze will occur.
This will have the capacity to dramatically change the share price instantly, decrease the need for further dilution, dramatically increase the value of the Lending partners UNIS share holdings and even allow UNIS to sell shares at a future date to repay some debt, if needed
I am more than prepared to have people say that i am a Clown, Idiot or whatever but really that is what investing is about.
You try and look to the future, try and see what is possible and whether its worth the risk.
For me I try and point out what is possible, what is the future and it is for each to decide, if it is probable.
One thing that i am certain of, if what i predict occurs then us UNIS share holders will be very richly rewarded and if I am not accurate in regard to the dividend then the share price will go up but grudgingly and over time.
There is a big temptation and incentive for the board.
Telstra is currently deciding whether to borrow to maintain their dividend.
Most us have done the same.
For instance, who has owed money and bought something none essential (ie a new Car) rather than repay the loan.
A Credit Union here in Newcastle, offered a holiday if you took out a loan with them. Many offer cash for taking out a loan.
    Same thing
