We all have those issues. For my money it depends where you are - I used to hold underlying investments of theirs and very often regretted it... API may look good today but there was a time it was struggling, NHC was the flagship but that waned as well ... I even think TPG was around 34c at one point.
I ultimately decided it was the group I wanted and not the individual stocks. However this one has me thinking its not the same as the others ... I do want a property investment which looks at urban renewal ... I dont have the time or inclination to do it for myself but I do think there is a lot to be said for looking at this as pure timing and opportunity. As a $300 m investment pool its not going to drive the SOL share - my opinion. So I am looking to find 2.0% of my portfolio to invest in this directly.
