The Company bought 300,000 shares at an average price of $11.01 on Thursday. Recall that that was the day before the big plunge on the DOW following the Israeli attacks.
The 300,000 share purchase at over $3mil by Zinifex was the biggest one day purchase of its own stock in a long long time. In fact I dont think they have bought so much in one day.
I can only infer that they are of theview that the stock is on the up and up and with the Quarter review due out tomorrow week (24 July) there must be good news coming imho.

I bought more on Friday at $10.43 with the stock down 6% and after I did the research on this.
