"What would a good P/E ratio or yield be for a mortgage trust? Any others out there?"

I can think of Estate Morrgage, but sadly not around any more.
Looking at PE and dividend yield is one thing, but there is a large exposure here to property developmant loans, some of it mezzanine finance.

There are financial companies and there are financial companies.
