One final note which excited me at the time of the CLBP results more than other component of the study, was the very meaningful reduction in opioid use by those on the active arm. Given 50% of opioid prescriptions are for back pain in the US and given the huge problem this addictive substance has caused, then the marketing of this treatment, if approved, would be a dream.
SI even led with it when the initial announcement was made. He knows the focus the FDA and government have on this epidemic.
Anyway, good to remind investors why we are here. GHVD is and has always been just the gateway for MSB's commercial success and long term value. It's a shame so much dilution has had to take place to fund these mega value indications due to a precedent making FDA decision after ODAC. aGVHD should have funded all these programs. We would be getting our CLBP readouts about now if that decision was positive.
