I know it was set up like a display home and Crest got a bit of promotional value out of it, etc but one home doesn't answer enough questions to make the exercise worthwhile.
For instance, how effectively will it work in a range of home styles and sizes, what price range of homes would it be most suitable for and which groups of people would be most likely to buy a home with a unit installed.
My understanding is the home was built and sold very quickly; not typical of how display homes are used by companies in Australia but perhaps it is different in the UK.
Maybe some units need to be provided at cost to builders to install in new homes to collect some market data and generate interest. I think CFU needs to become more aggressive and innovative with promotion.
