Give the recent actions by ASIC and the outrageous fee structure, there is obvious appetite for Regal.
Otherwise, the discount would be a lot greater. I am not defending their past or present bad market behaviour... but it appears people are still willing to help back the manager.
Any manager that is involved in shorting invariably draws the ire of investors adversely affected. That is not to say there is a right and wrong way to going about your shorting activities.
