- you speak English (I'd guess the majority of staff don't)
- you might not like the restaurants catered for Thais and chinese
- they don't want people there for "a flutter", they want dedicated gamblers
- you are more likely to complain, as you want the whole "experience" rather than a place to gamble.

Crowne Plaza DaNang works the same way, they don't even list on the IHG website, they don't allow any non tour/junket guests either unless you basically threaten via IHG that you want to stay there. Have a Google, you can't book anywhere, and I've even email the hotel.
