It is still one hell of a gamble.
At todays price there is profit assured with what they already have.

When they bought the mine the sellers believed, given the price of metals the deal was not worth perusing. That has changed.

There is high probability they will find some more ore. Now as I said they are covered with what is there. I can't see a big elephants foot but a small one would be great.

What I don't know is wether the exploration tools available say ten years ago were capable of detecting an elephants footprint or not. I was told once that if its covered by say 150 metres of dirt then it's not detectable, well that was before the present toolkit.
