    I suspect the sell off also has to do with the fact that Friday 16th was the last trading day before MEO is removed from the ASX300 list. Many instos/brokers only trade stocks within this list (or the ASX200 etc). Hence, they would have offloaded MEO prior to start of trading Monday 19th.
