    Hi Guys,

I wanted to start a thread to try to get some HC input into estimated value/grade & size of inventory.

    The unknowns for me are:
    1. Grade - we can estimate at this from GEM recovery on alluvial's.
    2. Stone size (average/median) - not sure how to estimate but can work from minimum sieve
    3. Price per stone - once we know 1&2 should be (relatively) easy.

(yeah, I realise that pretty much covers everything but I'd like to see if there are any more knowledgeable poster's thoughts on this)

I notice in announcement '26/10/16 that we were using a 3mm screen. I assume this hasn't changed, but would appreciate any correction.

Now, from what I can see online a 3mm sieve looks to have a min recovery size of 33 stones per carat (or 0.03 per ct) - ie a 3pt stone minimum size (based on diamond sieve but assume same size). Obviously this is a minimum but there should be some sort of distribution we can estimate from here, once we get further detail.

    Any thoughts would be welcome.

    Cheers

    Cap
